Hi all, Hope you're having a good summer - whether its holidaying or racing or a bit of both. Have updated the club champs results - let me know if I've got anything wrong, or missed you out. Congrats to Simon, Steve R and Warren who braved the wet and mud at Cymmer X for what sounded like a great off road event for the MBTrs out there - will make sure I'm not on holiday for it next year.  Poppit Sands ‘Surf and Stride’ Aquathlon 1k swim, 5k rum Sunday 5th September. Start 9.00am. This is a new event organised by Poppit Sands surf lifesaving club. It will consist of a 1K sea swim( wet suits will be compulsory) and a 5k multi terrain run. It will be based on the blue flag beach of Poppit Sands, Pembrokeshire (SA43 3LN). The event will be open to both individuals and relay teams at a cost £12.50.... 

Entrys are now open for this worthwhile event , it will take place at fairwater leisure center on the 29th August , its the same course as the tri a tri race , for full details go to the Cardiff tri site.  Read More →

Congratulations to Morgan Davies on his Selection to represent GB at the European youth championships in Portugal. Morgans results of late are as follows 1st Welsh schools champs 3k, 2nd youth at Blenheim Castle, 2nd at the GB selection race at Eton, 2nd at the weekends London Dextro Aquathlon  despite being knocked of his bike on Monday while out training. Everyone at the club wish you well at the Europeans. All... 

Great performances by a few of our club members in July , Congats to Steve Fry  and Dick Ills for completing their first Half Ironman at trentham , and again a fantastic showing at the European champs in Athlon (Ireland)  for Alan Kerr winning a silver medal to go with his gold at the worlds champs in 2008, and to Debbie Cooke for finishing fourth in her age group , her best performance in a major champs . And... 

Hi all,   Many thanks to all those who roused themselves from their beds at an ungodly hour for a Sunday (unless of course you're the dedicated ones usually up at that time for training!) to help marshall at Tuska. The event went really well and we've had some good feedback from competitors.   Hope you had a good race if you took part!   If there's any feedback you'd like to give from a marshalling/competing... 

Anyone fancy the  National Club Relays 21st August Nottingham? We’d love to get some teams together  – the club will pay the entry fee.  We can make up any team of 4 combination – mixed, vets, novice etc – just express your interest and we’ll look at our best options.
